Pricing

Orion Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Ltd aims to reflect the most accurate information on its prices at all times. We supply items at the recommended price except where a specific discount is offered. We will make all reasonable efforts to present accurate information but we cannot guarantee the price or our ability to supply. All Prices listed are inclusive of VAT@20%.

Occasionally manufactures may increase their prices unexpectedly, and this is often something we become aware of only upon ordering stock from them. In the event that this occurs, or in the event of a pricing error however caused, we will, at our own discretion, either check with you before dispatch to see if you still wish to receive the item at the new price, or cancel your order and notify you of the cancellation.

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£) on our UK website, www.orionairsales.co.uk, and in US dollars ($) on our US websites. Other currencies can be selected by using our currency selector on our websites.

VAT Distance Selling Regulations

To comply with current VAT distance selling regulations, we now charge the applicable VAT rate for any country for which we exceed the distance selling threshold. This currently includes: Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Holland, Ireland, Italy, Spain and Sweden.

Customers in VAT exempt territories within the EU

Unfortunately our system is not yet able to distinguish VAT exempt territories within the EU and therefore customers may be charged VAT when placing an order. This will be shown at the checkout phase of the order process.

We are happy to refund the VAT to you after your order has been dispatched. To request a VAT refund after dispatch, please email: info@orionair.co.uk. Please remember to include the order number with your request.

Contract

When you place an order to purchase a product from www.orionairsales.co.uk online, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we send e-mail confirmation to you that we've dispatched that product to you (the 'Dispatched Confirmation E-mail'). That acceptance will be complete at the time we send the Dispatched Confirmation E-mail to you. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed in a Dispatched Confirmation E-mail to have been dispatched do not form part of that contract.

Delivery

Delivery is to the curb only, the end user is required to sign for the cargo, have relevant staff available to except and deal with the cargo on delivery. If delivery cannot be excepted and has to be rearranged, an extra delivery charge maybe applicable on certain cargo's. Some products will be delivered on a pallet due to the nature of the cargo i.e weight. 

If an item is signed for and we are not notified of damage then Orion will not replace or refund the item.
24 hours notice is required for all damaged items , but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to offer a replacement free of charge 

Privacy

www.orionairsales.co.uk recognises the concern of our customers regarding privacy of information. All information you give to www.orionairsales.co.uk is stored securely, and is not accessible to other users. Rest assured that any information you give to www.orionairsales.co.uk will not be distributed to any other company outside of www.orionairsales.co.uk or its affiliated partners, unless you give us your express consent.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you for two reasons: firstly, to process your order and secondly, to provide you with the best possible service. We will not e-mail you or pass your information to another trader unless you have given us your consent. In order to process your payment we may, however, provide financial information to our account processors (including Banks and such organisations). In addition, you may notify us if you do not wish to receive any further marketing information from us. The type of information we will collect about you includes:

* address
* phone number
* email address
* credit/debit card details

We will not collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.

We will endeavour to ensure the information we hold will be accurate and up-to-date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law. If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first, except for payment processing through the secure channels of our banking partners. Note that if your booking is not available from our warehouse or suppliers in the UK and we have to obtain it from abroad, we will need to transfer the correct information to our suppliers outside the UK to fulfil the order. We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a 'cookie' which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.

We do not knowingly collect for company use any personal information of children under 12 without the consent of their parent or carer.

Security

www.orionairsales.co.uk uses industry standard Secure encryption to ensure the highest security for credit card and personal details submitted to us over the Internet. Recent surveys have shown that there is less fraud on the Internet than in real life situations (such as using your credit card in a department store or at a restaurant), and we're confident that we are offering the secure service you can expect from www.orionairsales.co.uk. Information passed between your computer and our website cannot be read in the unlikely event that it is intercepted by someone else.

Warranties, Refunds and Returns

www.orionairsales.co.uk operates a returns policy in accordance with the UK Distance Selling Regulations if you return your item 14 working days of receiving delivery of your order. Any orders placed are subject to your rights of cancellation pursuant to the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, except in respect of the supply of sealed goods, special order goods, air conditioning systems containing more than 500g of refrigerant and special delivery units such as rooftop chillers and items over 50kG . Please note that any postage costs incurred when returning your item during this period will be at your own cost, unless damaged in transit, or was sent in error.

The equipment must not be returned unwrapped and must be in original packaging including banding. We accept no responsibility for any issues regarding equipment loss, faults or damage. We do not except responsibility or liability in any way for labour charges incurred if a problem arises with the equipment due to breakdown or failure unless stated in the initial quotation. All returns if not sent in error or faulty will be subject to a restocking fee of up to twenty-five percent or according to the manufactures returns policy. The warranty we offer is the manufactures stated warranty only. If you believe that your item has been lost in transit or has not been delivered for any reason, you must contact us within 60 days of your 'Your order number Ref Number', so that we can investigate. We regret that we are unable to accept claims for lost items that are reported more than 60 days after the order date.

Standard Returns Policy

* The unit was found to be damaged or faulty. We will replace the component under the MANUFACTURES WARRANTY terms. If you require a replacement, we will wait to receive a service sheet explaining fault so this can be sent to the manufacturer before dispatching a new one.


Please note that our Standard Returns policy does not apply to B2B customers. B2B customers may return 20% from each individual order within 14 days, providing the items are in their original condition. Postage costs to send the items to our returns addresses will be the responsibility of the customer and the items must be sent back to their country of dispatch. Therefore, all UK sourced items must be returned to the UK address, and all US items returned to the US address.

Provided the conditions above are met www.orionairsales.co.uk will refund the cost of all such returns provided the units are returned to us by the most economical method. The unit remains your property until we have received it.

Returns are accepted at the discretion of www.orionairsales.co.uk. Refunds will be given in the same tender type as the original payment where possible. A faulty unit if requiring a full replacement will require the old unit to be returned to the supplier unless the manufacturer decides to investigate the issue. Non compliance can result in courier costs and the like, any costs incurred by Orionairsales will result in charge to the customer. If a unit has arrived faulty a qualified engineer must write a report so this can be passed to the manufacture and a replacement part sort.

Please allow 14 days (in addition to the delivery time) for the return to be processed.

Hire Conditions

It is Your responsibility to off-hire the equipment when You have finished using it. We will continue to charge daily Hire Charges until You contact Us to obtain an Off-Hire confirmation number.
If You cancel the hire order within 24 hours before Despatch, We will be entitled to levy a fee equivalent to 1 weeks Hire Charges plus aborted delivery cost.

Use of Site

www.orionairsales.co.uk and any associated company within the Orionair group reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, and/or cancel transactions in its discretion, if www.orionairsales.co.uk believes that customer conduct is in violation or breach of any applicable law or www.orionairsales.co.uk terms and conditions, or is harmful to the interests of www.orionairsales.co.uk or the Orionair Group. F-gas Regulated Products

Air conditioning and refrigeration products with refrigerant must be installed by an F-Gas qualified engineer.  We can install the unit for you using our F-Gas Certified Engineers. Please note if you do not select our installation service  we will not ship the unit until we have obtained evidence from you that you will have the unit installed by an F-Gas qualified engineer. This is a requirement of the Article 11 (5) EC/517/2014 on fluorinated greenhouse gases and The Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases Regulations 2015.

All split style F-gas products or refrigerant products which contains a refrigerant gas governed by the F-gas regulation must be handled,  installed or commissioned by a qualified F-gas engineer. All non-hermetically sealed split systems, refrigeration units or air conditioning units purchased direct by a customer in the UK or EU will require proof that it will be installed or commissioned by a certified F-gas qualified engineer. 

Orion AC&R Limited will request a letter of assurance detailing the following if a client chooses a “purchase only” option in the UK/EU.

• The client he/she has contracted an f-gas certified engineer to install the unit, supplied in writing/email.
• The name and f-gas certification number of the f-gas engineer/company, supplied in writing/email
• A copy of either correspondence/quote for the installation by a F-gas engineer, supplied in writing/email

• Identifying you when you sign-in to our site. This allows us to provide you with product recommendations, display personalised content, recognise you as a Prime member, and enable you to purchase, among other customised features and services we may provide.
• Delivering content, including relevant information to your interests on the OrionAirSale’s sites. Our interest-based ads are subject to your preferences as described in the next section.
• Keeping track of your specified preferences. This allows us to honour your likes and dislikes, such as whether or not you would like to see interest-based ads.
• Keeping track of items stored in your shopping basket.
• Conducting research and diagnostics to improve OrionAirSale’s content, products and services.
• Preventing fraudulent activities on OrionAirSale’s websites.
• Improving security on OrionAirSale’s websites.
