Unlike all other units of this capacity, the Sealey SAC12000 can be used as a spot cooler positioned outside of the room that is to be cooled and blows cold air into the room through the duct. A portable air conditioner is positioned in the room to be cooled and exhausts the hot air out of the room via the exhaust duct. Having the option of positioning the unit outside the room you wish to cool / heat is ideal if space and noise are critical.
