High-Output Under Ceiling Heat Pump for Large Commercial Spaces
The Samsung Under Ceiling Heat Pump 13.4kW single-phase system is designed for large commercial environments where powerful airflow is required but three-phase power is not available. Mounted directly beneath the ceiling, the unit delivers strong horizontal air distribution, making it ideal for open-plan spaces with high ceilings such as gyms, retail floors, warehouses, workshops, showrooms and industrial areas.
As part of Samsung’s Big Ceiling Inverter range, the system features an enlarged discharge blade and enhanced fan design capable of projecting air over distances of up to 15 metres. This provides significantly wider coverage than conventional ceiling-mounted units and helps maintain consistent comfort levels across large areas.
Samsung’s Digital Inverter technology continuously adjusts compressor output to match demand, improving energy efficiency while maintaining stable indoor temperatures. The supplied wired controller allows precise control of fan speed, airflow direction and operating modes, with the option to restrict user access to prevent unauthorised adjustments and reduce unnecessary energy use. Using R32 refrigerant, the system offers efficient year-round cooling and heating with reduced environmental impact.

These air conditioning units must be installed by an F-Gas qualified engineer. We can install the unit for you using our F-Gas Certified Engineers. Please note if you do not select our installation service we will not ship the unit until we have obtained evidence from you that you will have the unit installed by an F-Gas qualified engineer. This is a requirement of the Article 11 (5) EC/517/2014 on fluorinated greenhouse gases and The Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases Regulations 2015.
