The VX series features six models ranging in capacity from 35kW to 140kW, providing one of the widest ranges of sizes available for various heating needs. These heaters are available in two configurations: the VX UF (Upright Free Blowing Unit) and the VX UD (Upright Ducted Unit). Both configurations are designed to operate with either room-sealed or flue-only systems, offering vertical and horizontal flueing options to simplify installation and reduce costs. The compact design ensures flexibility in placement while maintaining a strong and rigid structure for long service life.

Each VX heater comes equipped with a four-pass tubular heat exchanger, built from aluminised steel tubes with swaged and expanded connections to minimise stress and maximise durability. For harsher environments, upgrades to 409 and 316 stainless steel heat exchangers are available. Individual in-shot burners with Resistohm Helical Low NOx inserts allow continuous operation at temperatures up to 1300°C, ensuring high performance with NOx emissions of less than 96mg/kWhr and a useful efficiency of over 90%.

The VX range is designed for optimal energy efficiency without condensing, using simple and effective high-low burner control. A high-low burner gas valve assembly is supplied as standard, with optional modulation available. The fan module is engineered for reliability and performance, maintaining constant airflow throughout high-low fire operation. Anti-vibration mounts ensure low noise levels, while options such as duct spigots, inlet filters, and manual or driven dampers provide further customisation.

The standard axial fan heater delivers throws ranging from 12m to 32m, ensuring excellent heat distribution for large spaces. The heater’s casing is designed for rigidity and low noise levels, with the fan module supporting the heat exchanger for a compact, low-height design. Each unit is factory-fitted with the Powrmatic MC200 controller, ensuring ease of operation and reliability.

Additional features include easy-access swing-out burner wiring panels for maintenance, low-level horizontal flue discharge as standard, and optional vertical flue discharge for increased installation flexibility. Designed for use with both G20 Natural Gas and G31 LPG (with injector change), the VX range ensures adaptability across various fuel types.
