Ultra High Output Quartz Infrared Heater for Large Industrial Buildings

The Powrmatic SQ180H9 Electric Quartz Infrared Heater is the largest and most powerful unit in the Powrmatic SQ electric infrared heater range. Designed for very large industrial and commercial environments, the heater uses high-intensity shortwave quartz infrared technology to deliver instant radiant heat directly to people, machinery and working surfaces rather than heating the surrounding air volume.

Infrared heating is particularly effective in buildings such as warehouses, factories and distribution centres where conventional warm-air heating systems often struggle due to high ceilings, open doors and large air volumes. By directing heat precisely into the occupied work zones, infrared heaters provide immediate comfort while reducing wasted energy.

The SQ range has been developed specifically for zonal heating applications. Instead of heating the entire building volume, these heaters focus warmth exactly where workers are located, improving comfort while reducing energy consumption. The SQ range is designed for large spaces such as factories and warehouses and can achieve significant energy savings compared with traditional heating systems.

The SQ180H9 model produces 18kW of radiant heating output using nine high-intensity quartz heating lamps. The horizontal heater configuration produces a long linear heating pattern that is ideal for heating warehouse aisles, production lines and large industrial workspaces where heat needs to follow the working area.
