The Powrmatic SQ15H1 Electric Quartz Infrared Heater is a compact industrial heating solution designed to provide rapid, targeted warmth in commercial and industrial environments. Using high-intensity quartz shortwave infrared technology, the heater delivers instant radiant heat directly to people, machinery and working areas without needing to warm the surrounding air.

This heating method is particularly effective in environments such as warehouses, loading bays, workshops and production areas where conventional warm-air systems lose efficiency due to high ceilings, large air volumes or frequent door openings. Radiant infrared heating warms surfaces and occupants directly, creating comfortable working conditions with minimal wasted energy.

The SQ range has been developed by Powrmatic in partnership with Shadow Industrial Infrared as part of a modern electric heating solution aimed at improving energy efficiency and supporting building decarbonisation strategies. The system provides instant heat output and can achieve significant energy savings by heating occupied zones rather than entire building spaces.

The SQ15H1 model is a horizontal-mounted heater delivering 1.5kW of output from a single quartz heating lamp. Its slim, robust design allows installation on walls or suspended from ceilings above workstations or localised areas where focused heating is required.
