The Powrmatic SRP PVU50 is a high-capacity vacuum radiant U-tube heater designed to deliver powerful infrared heating performance across warehouses, factories and large commercial buildings. With a heat input of 50 kW, the PVU50 provides strong radiant heat coverage for large open industrial spaces where conventional warm-air heating systems can struggle due to heat stratification and large building volumes.

Vacuum radiant heating technology works by drawing combustion gases through the emitter tube using an induced draft fan system. This creates a more consistent tube temperature along the radiant emitter, improving heat distribution and maintaining efficient combustion performance. Two-stage high and low burner operation allows rapid warm-up on high fire while providing energy-efficient steady operation on low fire once the desired temperature has been achieved.

Unlike traditional heating systems that warm the surrounding air, radiant tube heaters emit infrared heat energy directly to people, equipment and floor surfaces. This method greatly reduces heat losses caused by stratification in buildings with high ceilings, where warm air would normally rise towards the roof structure. By focusing heat in the occupied working area, radiant heating systems improve comfort while reducing energy consumption in large industrial environments.

The U-tube emitter configuration allows the PVU50 to deliver high heat output while maintaining a relatively compact installed length compared with longer linear radiant heaters. This makes it particularly suitable for warehouses, workshops and distribution centres where structural layout or ceiling space restricts the installation of longer radiant systems.

When paired with the MC200 optimised controller, the heater provides precise temperature management and efficient heating operation across demanding commercial heating installations.
