Compact Vacuum U-Tube Radiant Heater for Industrial Warehouse Heating
The Powrmatic SRP PVU20US is a compact vacuum radiant U-tube heater designed to provide efficient infrared heating in warehouses, factories and industrial workspaces. Delivering a heat input of 22 kW, the PVU20US provides dependable radiant heat coverage while maintaining a compact installation footprint, making it ideal for applications where space limitations restrict longer linear radiant systems.
Vacuum radiant heating technology works by drawing combustion gases through the radiant emitter tube using an induced draft fan. This system maintains a more uniform tube temperature along the emitter length, improving radiant heat distribution and overall system efficiency compared with traditional forced-burner radiant heaters.
Infrared radiant heating operates by warming people, machinery and floor surfaces directly rather than heating the surrounding air volume. This approach significantly reduces heat losses caused by stratification in buildings with high ceilings, where warm air naturally rises towards the roof space. By directing heat into the occupied working zone, radiant heaters deliver improved comfort and energy efficiency in large industrial environments.
The U-tube configuration provides strong radiant performance while requiring a shorter installed length than linear radiant heaters. This makes the PVU20US particularly well suited for workshops, warehouse zones and industrial buildings where compact installation is preferred while still delivering reliable overhead radiant heat.
Supplied with the MC200 optimised controller, the heater allows precise temperature management and energy-efficient operation across demanding commercial heating installations. Two-stage high/low burner operation enables rapid warm-up with efficient steady-state heating during normal operation.
