Vacuum U-Tube Radiant Heating System for Efficient Industrial Warehouse Heating
The Powrmatic SRP PVU20 is a vacuum radiant U-tube heater designed to provide efficient infrared heating for warehouses, factories and industrial workspaces. With a heat input of 22 kW, the PVU20 delivers reliable radiant heating performance while maintaining a compact installation footprint suited to many commercial and industrial buildings.
Vacuum radiant heating technology operates by drawing combustion gases through the radiant emitter tube using an induced draft fan system. This method produces a more uniform temperature across the radiant tube, improving heat distribution and maintaining efficient combustion performance. Compared with conventional warm-air heating systems, radiant heating delivers energy directly to people, machinery and floor surfaces rather than heating the surrounding air volume.
This approach significantly reduces heat loss caused by stratification in buildings with high ceilings where warm air naturally rises towards the roof. By focusing heat into the occupied working zone, radiant tube heaters provide improved comfort and energy efficiency in large industrial environments.
The PVU20 U-tube configuration allows powerful radiant heating performance within a shorter installed length than linear radiant systems. This makes the heater particularly suitable for warehouses, workshops and industrial buildings where ceiling space is limited but reliable radiant heat coverage is required.
When combined with the MC200 optimised controller, the heater offers accurate temperature control and efficient heating operation across demanding commercial heating installations.
