Ultra High Output Double Linear Radiant Heating for Very Large Industrial Buildings
The Powrmatic PVDL50 is the largest model within the SRP double-linear vacuum radiant heater range, designed to deliver extremely powerful infrared heating performance across very large industrial buildings such as distribution warehouses, aircraft hangars and manufacturing plants. With a heat input of 106 kW, the PVDL50 provides wide radiant heat coverage and reliable heating performance in environments where conventional warm-air systems struggle due to heat stratification and large building volumes.
Vacuum radiant technology draws combustion gases through the radiant emitter tubes using an induced draft fan, ensuring consistent tube temperature along the entire heating circuit. This results in uniform radiant heat output while maintaining efficient combustion and reduced heat loss. Radiant heaters warm people, machinery and floor surfaces directly rather than heating the surrounding air volume, making them highly effective in large buildings with high ceilings or frequent door openings.
The double linear configuration effectively doubles the radiant emitter surface area compared with single-tube heaters, allowing greater heat coverage across wide warehouse bays and large industrial spaces. High-efficiency aluminium reflectors direct radiant energy downward into the occupied working zone, maximising usable heat output while improving overall system efficiency.
Powrmatic SRP radiant heaters incorporate two-stage high/low burner technology, enabling rapid warm-up on high fire and economical operation on low fire once the building reaches the desired temperature. Automatic control is typically achieved using the MC200 energy-saving controller with black-bulb radiant sensor, providing accurate radiant temperature control in industrial heating installations.
