Ultra High Capacity Radiant Heating for Large Industrial Warehouses
The Powrmatic PVDL40 is a heavy-duty double linear vacuum radiant tube heater designed to deliver powerful infrared heating across very large industrial buildings including warehouses, logistics depots and manufacturing facilities. With a high-fire heat input of 82 kW, the system provides extensive radiant coverage and consistent heating performance in environments where traditional warm-air heating systems struggle with heat stratification.
Vacuum radiant heating technology works by drawing combustion gases through the radiant emitter tubes, ensuring even tube temperature along the entire heating circuit. The heated tubes emit infrared energy directly to the floor, machinery and occupants within the working zone rather than heating the air volume of the building. This approach significantly reduces energy losses in buildings with high ceilings and large open spaces.
The double linear radiant configuration used in the PVDL range effectively doubles the radiant surface area compared with a single linear heater, allowing large floor areas to be heated efficiently with fewer units. Combined with high-efficiency aluminium reflectors, radiant energy is directed downward into the occupied zone, maximising useful heat output while improving overall system efficiency.
Powrmatic SRP radiant heaters incorporate two-stage high/low burner technology, enabling rapid heat-up during cold start conditions and more economical operation once the desired temperature is achieved. Automatic operation is typically controlled via the MC200 energy-saving controller with black-bulb radiant sensor, ensuring accurate temperature regulation based on radiant heat levels within the space.
This configuration makes the PVDL40 an excellent solution for high-demand heating applications where reliable performance, energy efficiency and wide heat coverage are essential.
