The Regal IV wood burning stove is a classically designed cast-iron stove providing a traditional sense of style to a modern or period home with real flames offering a warm ambience to your room. The Regal IV is manufactured with a cast-iron body and door, all finished with a black, heat resistant paint. It has air control for altering the burn rate / heat output and has a simple to use pull handle system that moves the riddling grate to push soot and dirt into the ash pan for easier cleaning. The air wash system helps to keep the inside of the glass clean so you can benefit from the full flame effect. Manufactured in compliance with BS/EN13240 and UKCA/CE latest standards. If you intend to use this appliance on a barge or boat it must be installed in accordance with BS 8511:2010 - consult your qualified installer.

Please use a flexible flue liner with a diameter of 5" (130mm) if required.

What size stove do I need to heat my room?

To achieve a relaxing room temperature of around 21ºC when the external air temperature is at freezing (0ºC) you will need approximately 1 kW of heat output for every 14 cubic meters of space. Measure the length, width and height of your room and multiply the three figures together. For example, a room measuring 7 m long by 4 m wide and with a height of 2.5 m is 70 m3 of space. Divide by the sum by 14 and this means you will require a 5 kW stove. However, this is just a rough guide; factors such as the number of outside walls, the size of windows and whether they are double glazed, the age of the home, etc., can all influence the heat requirement.
