Super Hornet 1000 watt turbine 24V or 48V

An extremely robust wind turbine with high output 1000 watts (1400 watt max)
With next generation Super-Core PMA Technology (Permanent Magnet) the Hornet 1000 series wind turbine is made to extract maximum power from windy areas. Up to 1000 Watts but is capable of 1400 watts in high wind.
The Hornet is extremely robust and very dependable (125,000 hours rated bearing life), ideal for land based or marine applications.

Windyboy 1200W grid tie inverter 24V or 48V

The Windy Boy 1200W is the perfect solution for the smallest wind energy systems with low generator voltage: turbines with a nominal voltage of 24 or 48 V can be connected without an additional voltage converter.
The programmable polynomial curve gives you full flexibility for choosing the turbine, while its
weatherproof enclosure and the wide temperature range allow for installation at nearly any location. As an inverter for wind energy systems, the Windy Boy is optimally adjusted to fast and frequent load changes. Its minimum internal consumption during a calm also increases the yield, which you can monitor at any time using the display and different communication interfaces.
The inverters can be located as close to the wind turbine as desired (even on the tower, IP65 protection), eliminating long DC wire runs. Connection to the mains is via the house consumer unit. Inverters automatically shut down in the event of: High/Low grid AC voltage; High/Low grid frequency; Grid failure; or Inverter malfunction. An additional wind turbine controller is required. It is most important that the DC input voltage to the Windy Boy never rises above the maximum permitted even if the Windy Boy shuts down eg. during a power cut.

WindyBoy Protection Box 400

Rectifier and overvoltage protection – the Windy Boy Protection Box from SMA is multitalented: The WBP-Box limits excessive voltage and power from the generator and redirects it to a load resistor without limiting the power of your small wind energy plant. This reliably protects the inverter from high input voltages and ensures trouble-free operation.

The Windy Boy Protection Box is equipped with a three-phase rectifier. It is delivered as a turnkey unit and can be used with nearly all types of generators from various manufacturers and with different power classes. This makes the Windy Boy Protection Box the optimal solution for wind power plants, but also provides the perfect link between permanent magnet
generators and the inverter.

6.4m (3 x 2.13m sections) of 48mm dia galvanised steel tube ready drilled for assembly complete with joiners.
Complete with steel guys, shackles, turnbuckles, pole attachments, ground fixings for pole and guys. (designed for permanent installation-concrete base for pole and guy anchors recommended)
