The Skywatch® Meteos 1 is a thermo-anemometer measures wind strength regardless of the wind direction. The unit is powered by a replaceable AA battery. A threaded hole on the bottom plate allows mounting on a camera tripod.

Wind-chill factor is a calculation of the wind effect on temperature. The faster the wind blows, the faster the body loses heat. For example, a 0°C current temperature and a 30km/h wind can reduce body temperature by -13°C. At sea, in the mountains, while trekking or biking, the Meteos 1 will instantly display the real temperature felt by the body and protect from frostbite and hypothermia.
