SE Z5600A Microphone Including Suspension Mount
The SE Z5600a Mk II Studio Microphone won many awards in the professional audio press worldwide, and has won thousands of fans with its ultra clean and detailed valve sound, nine polar patterns and great performance enhancing looks. The SE Z5600A Mark 2 is used in many of the world’s top professional studios. It is an incredibly versatile mic and also one of the best vocal mics available. With 9 graded steps between three main capsule patterns, omni, cardioid and figure of eight the Z5600A finds uses in a huge number of applications, from micing a live drum kit, to overhead on a choir. Above all this excellent mic has won its praise on delivering a superb vocal recording, with natural warmth and incredible detail. The Z5600a mk 2 comes in a wooden presentation case, cradled in a full aluminium flight case with a large shock mount and a power supply with pattern switching and cables.
Designed by a team of extremely experienced engineers and verified by extensive listening tests, each SE 75600A Microphone utilises gold sputtered, ultra-light mylar diaphragms in an advanced capsule design. The SE 75600A Microphone is constructed using the finest quality Japanese electronic components and extensively tested to provide you with years of trouble-free operation. Every SE 75600A Microphone comes with an individual frequency response plot. The SE 75600A tube microphone use traditional, high voltage tube circuitry to ensure the true vintage tube sound. This is in contrast to many cost saving tube designs where the tube is run at a very low operating voltage so as to introduce deliberate distortion which their designers hope to pass off as warmth. Whereas most vintage mic tubes are hard to find and extremely expensive, The SE 75600A Microphone uses commonly available high performance tubes that are specially selected and matched for low noise operation.
There are two basic microphone directional patterns, omni-directional, which picks up sound equally from all directions, and figure-of-eight, which picks up from both the front and rear of the microphone but not from the sides. Combining these two basic patterns creates a cardioid or directional response, which simply means the SE4400A Microphone is most sensitive in one particular direction. By varying the way in which the omni-directional and figure-of-eight patterns are combined, varying widths of cardioid pattern can be created.
