Mitsubishi Heavy Industries has made a giant leap forward in air conditioning and heat pump technology, with the development of high performance FD Mitsubishi Heavy Industries air conditioning and Series split systems for commercial application: offices, shops, meeting rooms, restaurants, hotels, clubs, gyms, and open plan areas.
The Advanced FDTA Cassette range has now been extended to include new small capacity INVERTER systems starting at 1.8kW/2.0kW, and an extra high capacity system 14.3kW/16.2kW at the top end. (figures stated are for cooling/heating performance. 7-Day 24 HR Programmable Timer - now included in standard controls specification.
The CoP (Coefficient of Performance) has been dramatically increased, up to 4.2 on some models. This means the system can deliver 4.2 kW of heating, whilst consuming only 1.0kW of electrical power. This has been achieved by combining advanced Mitsubishi technology with R410A.
New Cassette Design:
The improved air flowpattern through the unit, and the new design of high performance heat exchanger, have resultedin a pressure loss reduction, allowing the fandesign to be optimised for significantly lower sound levels. The air discharge louver has been modified to minimise air smudging on the ceiling adjacent to the air outlets.
