With next generation Super-Core PMA Technology (Permanent Magnet) the Hornet 1000 series wind turbine is made to extract maximum power from windy areas. Up to 1000 Watts but is capable of 1400 watts in high wind. The unit comes with a 1.5" mounting which would fit inside a normal size mounting pole (49mm diameter with 5mm wall). The 60V + 120V are excellent for grid tie inverter applications as well as battery charging  / direct water heating. The Hornet is extremely robust and very dependable (125,000 hours rated bearing life), ideal for land based or marine applications.
